The Teacher
Ustadh Abdul Aleem is the founder of Fluent Arabic. He is passionate about Arabic literature and poetry and loves teaching Arabic to beginners.
He holds a masters in Fiqh And Usul from Al-Madinah International University.

Ustaz Abdul Aleems approach to teaching Arabic is very different from conventional Arabic classes. The main goal is to understand the quran and hadith books, in sha Allah. Most of the assignments are related to quran and hadith books so we get to practice from the start. This course is a great first step. It will help you to build a strong foundation upon which you can build your understanding of Arabic. I recommended learning Madinah Arabic Book 2 and 3 after this course.
Yes. Book 1 is taught fully in English. From Book 2 we start using Arabic a little bit.
We aim to complete it within 2 months. We hope to finish before the start of Ramadan 2024. In case we don’t, the students will be consulted on whether to pause for Ramadan or not.
I highly recommend buying a physical copy of the Madinah Arabic Book 1. It can be any version. A dictionary is also useful—you can use a digital one or printed.
